Writing as an Art Form

Humans have expressed themselves through writing for thousands of years. But for many, writing is a creative outlet and accompanied by a desire to share with a larger audience. We talk with new and seasoned writers about the writing process, how to hone writing skills, and opportunities to share work.

Guests on the program are as follows: Lauren Wolk, Director of the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Her debut novel Wolf Hollow received a Newberry Honor. Alexandra Speck is the author of the novel Honor Girl. Brian Engles is the author of the novelWildball.

Here's a link to Lauren Wolk's talk at the Cape Cod Museum of Art on Thursday January 4th.

Alexandra Speck has a reading at Cotuit Center for the Arts on January 27th at 3:00 p.m. Gallery reception and book signing to follow.
