Women's Music Festival, & more: Best Bets for the Weekend

Sarah Swain of Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys is among the acts appearing at the Cape Cod Women's Music Festival.

Your ears will be happy and your toes tapping, as we have lots of good music happening this weekend. Some of Cape Cod’s top female music stars will perform together Sunday in a show to benefit cancer patients through the new Cape Wellness Collaborative.

Saturday night David Wax Museum, a duo familiar to Cape music fans, will open the second season of concerts and talks at an unusual venue - Provincetown’s historic Hawthorne Barn. More info.

Cape Cod Collaborative Arts Network is back with another musical revue in Cotuit, and this year’s story, Scary Gary’s Graveyard of Golden Oldies Radio Show, has a spooky fun element. More details.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is opening its season this Weekend,  They’re starting with the regional premiere of a play that raises arguments about writing and teaching.  And the lead is being played by an actor straight from Broadway, Alan Campbell. More details.
