Antonia Bellanca makes perfume, but not just any perfume. Her scents are inspired by memories from her own life. It began with her former flower shop Antonia’s Flowers. Dissatisfied with the lack of variety in women’s perfumes, Antonia set out to make her own, and she began with her favorite flower: freesia.
However, Antonia wasn’t content with making a fragrance that smelled a bit like freesia. She wanted her fragrance to smell exactly like freesia — a feat that, at the time, seemed impossible in the fragrance world. But, with a little help, she succeeded. Her first fragrance, named for her old shop, was born. Now, over 30 years later, Antonia has created four more fragrances, each with a unique backstory.
