The Cape Cod Commission is working to update the regional water quality plan for all of Cape Cod. As part of an intensive outreach effort, the Commission partnered with Emerson College's Engagement Game Lab to create two new online games.
As part of The Point program, Mindy Todd speaks with Cape Cod Commission's executive director Paul Niedzwiecki about the project.
Based on the Community PlanIt platform, the games are a way to reach, educate, and hear from a broader part of the Cape community. In the process, citizens get the chance to tell their stories, interact with people they normally wouldn’t, reflect on their views, and generate data useful to the Commission's clean water planning work.
