The New Bedford Lyceum was first established in 1828, offering speakers and programming that tackled key social and political issues. The Lyceum's re-establishment today follows the same centuries old tradition of learning through intellectual debate. On The Point, we talk about the history of the Lyceum and hear about present day programming.
Our guests on the program are Bob Unger from Unger LeBlanc Communications and Lee Blake, Founder of the Frederick Douglas House and President of the New Bedford Historical Society. Mindy Todd hosts.
