If you are a drummer - or if you just love to listen - Barnstable High School hosts a Day of Percussionon Sunday, a free event with classes about drumming taught by experts, including a former member of Blue Man Group and a Broadway drummer for "Lion King" and "American Idiot." "Broadway to Hollywood Celebrates the Holidays" opens Saturday night at the Academy Playhouse in Orleans - it's a fun show, being compared to 1960s-style Christmas TV specials. And next week on Nantucket, the Historical Association kicks off its annual Festival of Wreaths with a preview party on Tuesday.
