Today we travel along the Cape, Coast and Islands to look at the history of our region through pictures. First we explore Nantucket with photographer Allen Reinhard and Frances Karttunen, author of Nantucket’s North Shore, a Neighborhood History. Then, a look back at New Bedford with Joseph Thomas, Jay Avila, and Alfred H. Saulniers, editors of A Picture History of New Bedford, Volume 1. We end with Falmouth’s Highfield Halland Tanglewood, with our guest Kathleen Brunelle, author of Cape Cods’ Highfield and Tanglewood- a Tale of Two Cottages.
