On The Point, our host Mindy Todd and Mark Faherty, ornithologist and wildlife biologist at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, are on the air with the monthly Bird News, in the middle of a snowstorm. Many callers report birds are eagerly visiting feeding stations all through the region. Early songbird migrants have been showing up already: now they must shelter and wait for the weather to clear before they can forage again. During this hour, we also hear reports on the storm conditions from various sources.
