Election 2016

Tonight WCAI brings you complete coverage of local and national races, and results for statewide ballot questions, beginning at 8pm.

Our Election Night coverage includes live in-studio updates and analysis from Mindy Todd, with special guests Henri Rauschenbach, Dan Wolf and Paul Niedzwiecki, as well as live national coverage from NPR News. We'll have reporters at candidates' election night headquarters around the region. Be sure to join us for your complete rundown of election results.

  • Guest Analyst Henri Rauschenbach is a former Republican State Senator and State Representative. He also served as Undersecretary of Administration and Finance, Senior Policy Advisor on Energy to the Governor (Gov. Cellucci and Gov. Swift), and Senior Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor (Gov. Swift).
  • Guest Analyst Dan Wolf is the Democratic State Senator representing the Cape and Islands.
  • Guest Analyst Paul Niedzwiecki is Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commission. He served as a legislative aide to State Representative John Klimm (D), and legislative aid to State Senator Henri Rauschenbach (R).

WCAI features discussions with the candidates running for election this fall. Join us for The Point with Mindy Todd to hear in-depth discussions of the topics and issues in each local race, and join in the conversation with your questions.

Republican Candidates for Massachusetts 9th Congressional District Mark Alliegro and Thomas O’Malley join our host Mindy Todd on The Point. The seat is currently held by Democrat William Keating.

On the Point, Alliegro and O'Malley debate a number of issues including terrorism, jobs, schools, drug addiction, and climate change.
