Weekend Outlook: Inspiration in Many Forms

Joe Navas / Organic Photography

There are lots of opportunities to be inspired this weekend: a concert that helps others, the opportunity to try out an Olympic sport, an exhibit with both poetry and art, and theatre that's produced really, really quickly. Here's your Weekend Outlook.

Local teens who put on the annual “Shelter from the Storm” concerts have been so successful in the past that this year’s show on Friday aims to help feed 500 local residents for a whole year.

If you’re watching the Olympics and have never quite understood curling, the Cape Cod Curling Club in Falmouth has some events to put you in the know.

Artists can find their inspiration in a lot of places, but in a new exhibit at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, it’s all about interpreting words: The Mutual Muses exhibit.

How long does it take to write and rehearse a play? At Provincetown Theater this weekend, they’ve only got 24 hours at the 24 Hour Theatre Festival.
