Weekend Outlook: Boats, Music, Dancing & Celebrating Black History Month

Cape Cod Times

There's lots of things to do this weekend that don't involve football (and many won't interfere with watching the actual game!) Here's your Weekend Outlook.

People who love boats get an unusual chance this weekend to talk to the people who actually craft the boats at the 12th annual Boatbuilders Show in Hyannis.

With the start of February this week, it's Black History Month, and on Saturday, the Zion Union Heritage Museum in Hyannis will kick off a month of events to celebrate that.

Most people probably think of Handel’s “Messiah,” and its “Hallelujah Chorus,” as a staple of Christmas, but the Chatham Chorale will show on Sunday that there’s a lot more to that piece of music.

One of the biggest local events this weekend you can’t actually get tickets to anymore, but you can sit at home, or gather at someone else’s home so that you can still watch, vote and be part of the “Dancing With the Docs” fundraiser.
