WCAI's Local News Roundup: Taxi Drivers Seek Help; Pilgrim Wants Less Oversight; more

A suspected measles case on Martha's Vineyard now appears to be a misdiagnosis.

WCAI News Director Sean Corcoran hosts the Friday News Roundup, talking to local journalists about some of the week's top local news.  Guests include Patrick Cassidy from the Cape Cod Times; Tim Wood at the Cape Cod Chronicle; Joshua Balling from the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror; Jim DeArruda from the New Bedford Standard Times; and Nelson Sigelman from the Martha's Vineyard Times.

Among the stories they talk about: a suspected case of measles on Martha's Vineyard now appears to be misdiagnosed; the company that owns the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth asks regulators to relax its oversight; a Superior Judge rules that land-based wind turbines in Falmouth can keep spinning as the town goes through a court-ordered permitting process; and the $100-million ocean port terminal in New Bedford gets its first shipment of wind turbines.
