A Walk to Cure a Crippling Disease

NewsHero

FSHD is a life-long, progressive disease and can cause severe loss of all skeletal muscles (beginning with the face, shoulders, upper arms and progressing to the legs and feet). The disease is crippling and can be life shortening.   On The Point, Mindy Todd talks to Rich Holmes, a Cape Cod resident who has the disease, and is taking part in an upcoming event to draw attention to the need for a cure.
