Edward Gorey was an American author, illustrator, playwright, set and costume designer who had an avid following around the world.
In 1979 Gorey bought a 200-year-old sea captain's house in Yarmouthport. After his death in 2000, the house became a museum dedicated to his life and work, as well as his devotion to animal welfare. WCAI's Mindy Todd paid a visit in June of 2009, and Brian Morris produced this virtual tour.
