Summer is Here: Is Your Garden Ready?

Credit JJ
Evening Primrose can take the wet conditions well

It's not too late to plant things! Horticulturist and entomologist Roberta Clark gives encouragement and advice on The Point with Mindy Todd for our monthly discussion on gardening. We have experienced a very wet weather pattern over the last month and Roberta will talk about the impacts of that and moisture related diseases. According to Cape Cod Weather.net the average rainfall for June in Hyannis is three and a half inches; so far we have seen eight and a half and the month isn’t over. We also discuss various other troubles with plants, from peach leaf curl and potato beetles, to the dreaded squash vine borers.
