Retelling a Dreadful Chapter in History, & Working for the Future of This Land

In the year 1614, twenty Wampanoag men were kidnapped by European explorers to be sold as slaves in Spain.  Captured: 1614 is an interactive exhibit that depicts this event from the perspective of the Wampanoag people. The exhibit will travel to public libraries and museums throughout the region. Mindy Todd talks with Executive Producer Paula Peters about the project on The PointLater in the hour Ramona Peters, Founder of  theNative Land Conservancy, a new Native American-led land conservancy based in Mashpee, joins us to talk about their work protecting and preserving land on the Cape, Island, and beyond.
