Poetry Sunday: Judith Partelow

Judith Partelow reads her poem "Reading"

Judith Partelow recently wrote, directed and acted in her first play, A Woman's Heart, created entirely of her own poetry. It premiered at The Jacob Sears Library in Dennis to such overwhelming response, arrangements are being made to produce it elsewhere on the Cape and beyond. She appears as a central character in the Amazon Prime series, OFFSEASON, produced in Provincetown. She has three grown children and six grandchildren, and lives in Dennis with her husband, Thom Slayter. She is grateful to her neighbor, Mary Hanrahan, of Westfield, NJ, for introducing her as a child to the joys of reading.
