New Solar Array in Hyannis, Upcoming Casino Vote in New Bedford among Top News of the Week

WCAI's Brian Morris hosts a discussion of the week's top stories with several local journalists, including reporter Sean Driscoll from the Cape Cod Times; Tim Wood, editor of the Cape Cod Chronicle; Sally Rose, editor of the Provincetown Banner; Jim DeArruda, editorial page editor of the New Bedford Standard-Times; and Nelson Sigelman, editor of the Martha's Vineyard Times.

Among the stories making news this week: one of the largest solar arrays in New England goes on-line near the Barnstable Airport in Hyannis; residents object to a new aerial park at Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich; voters soon will decide the fate of a casino development in New Bedford; more prescription drug abuse problems on the Cape; Provincetown must pay out hundreds of thousands of dollars to its former police chief; and a look into the reasons for high gasoline prices on Martha's Vineyard.  A discussion of these and other news stories of the week on the News Roundup.
