The market for books aimed at young adults is very competitive, and it’s especially challenging for self-published authors. But a Bourne writer has found an unusual way of placing her books in the hands of readers. Kate Conway is the author of the Undertow series -- part paranormal, part teen romance, part mystery, and based on Cape Cod. Book Two is out this week -- it’s called Stormfront. Conway has done a ton of online social media, and has been aggressive in getting her books to reviewers. But, says Conway, the book cover itself is important. She talked to us in our Woods Hole studio.
