Why The Maker Movement Is a Perfect Fit For Cape Cod

People have long come to the Cape and Islands as a place to let their minds wander. Artists and scientists in  particular have built communities here for their ideas. Now the Cape Cod Makers are adding their energy to the region.

You may have heard of the maker movement. Often we hear about maker spaces where individuals can learn to use state-of-the-art technology, gain access to resources they could not otherwise, and exchange ideas with a community of creative-minded people who make all kinds of things.

Makers Chris Connors and Paula Hersey sat down with me to talk about the Cape Cod Makers and the Mini Maker Faire, and we had an EGG-cellent time.

For more about the Cape Cod Makers visit their website: www.CapeCodMakers.org

Chris Connors brought along his Egg Bot, and made us some WCAI Eggs.
