It wasn’t long ago that many feared the demise of the independent bookstore. Large chain stores like Borders and Barnes and Noble were ubiquitous, and online retailers like Amazon offered discounts and a seemingly unlimited list of titles. But Independent bookstores have held on despite the competition.
