Local Harvest Educates and Delights

sustainablecape.org

On The Point, Mindy Todd interviews Francie Randolph, founder of Sustainable Cape, an organization that aims to connect all members of the community with locally sourced food, thereby creating a more healthy and sustainable world. Stephanie Rein, Farmer in the School at the Truro Elementary School, joins the discussion. Both guests will both be presenters at the Connecting for Change Conference taking place October 23-24 in New Bedford.  Earlier in the program, we also hear an excerpt from the WGBH series Food Fights, from Farms to Labels, reported by Rupa Shenoy about how Boston Children's Hospital is working to replace bad hospital food to nutritious locally sourced food.
