LISTEN: Can You Name These Sci Fi Robots?

The Star Trek android, Data, and his emotionally unstable brother, Lore.
en.memory-alpha.org

Science fiction is full of robots, and many of them are murderous nightmares.

As the field of robotics advances, robots with intelligence, even emotions, seem more and more plausible. There are plenty of technological hurdles yet to jump, but the mere possibility raises deep and unsettling questions. Can we build robots capable of thinking for themselves, without them eventually turning on us?

In science fiction, the answer more often than not is "no." We're playing with fire, and bound to get burned. From HAL to Data's evil brother, Lore, robots gone bad abound in literature and on-screen.

Can you name these sci-fi robots? What's your favorite sci-fi robot?

Of course, it's important to keep in mind that this is science fiction. In reality, the question of whether we could - or should even attempt to - create intelligent, moral robots is still very much up for debate.
