Kurt Vonnegut's Legacy, And Other Banned Books

K. Vonnegut

"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is."--a quote from Kurt Vonnegut's "good uncle" Alex. Mindy Todd joins  Jill Erickson, Reference Librarian at Falmouth Public Library, Melanie Lawuers, Books Editor at the Cape Cod Times, and Lucy Loomis, Sturgis Library Director, to talk about the work of Vonnegut, and the controversies surrounding his (and other author's)  banned books. Columbus Day weekend kicks off a three day festival in celebration of the life and work of Kurt Vonnegut ,the former resident of Barnstable Village.
