Two groups, The Yard and the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, team up to bring Reggie Wilson’s Fist and Heel Performance Group to Martha's Vineyard. The group's current performance "CITIZEN" explores what it means to belong, and not to belong. On The Point, we discuss the project, as well as the lineup in this year’s Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival. Mindy Todd hosts these guests: David White, artistic director at The Yard; Reggie Wilson, artistic director and choreographer from Reggie Wilson Fist and Heel Performance Group; and Floyd Rance, Artistic Director of the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. Reggie Wilson will be giving artist talks about CITIZEN on August 2 at the Woods Hole Public Library, on August 5th at Oak Bluffs Public Library, and a performance on August 8th at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center.
