Bodybuilding is no easy feat. Bodybuilders spend endless hours in the gym. They count carbs and grams of fat meticulously. Why? To get ripped, maybe. But for Melissa Verdi, it’s more than that. Melissa’s past holds haunting memories of abuse and betrayal. Bodybuilding is helping her overcome this trauma and keep the weight of these dark memories off her shoulders.
