Helping Children Who Witness Violence

At age 10 William Kellibrew watched the murder of his mother and brother by his mother’s boyfriend. Today he’s a global advocate for children who witness violence. On The Point, we discuss improving safety, protection and supports for children in domestic violence situations. Mindy Todd hosts Mr. Kellibrew, and Lysetta Hurge-Putnam, executive director of Independence House.

Here’s a link to a community breakfast on October 14 at Independence House in Hyannis, featuring William Kellibrew as keynote speaker.
