Food Trucks Roll In for Fairground Festival, & more: Best Bets for the Weekend

Papi's Stuffed Sopapillas is among the more-than-two-dozen food trucks coming to the Cape Cod fairgrounds on Saturday.

A different kind of food buffet takes place at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in Falmouth on Saturday, as more than 25 food trucks roll into town.

Food trucks will again be part of the festivities on Sunday in Hyannis, where it’s the summer’s second LiveLoveLocal Fest, featuring crafts, food, and much more. More info.

Dogs and cats – pets of all sorts – are at the center of attention Saturday in Provincetown, where there’s going to be a kissing booth, doggie massages and even a film festival (which could be particularly good news if you enjoy all those cat videos on the Internet). More info.

We’ve had all kinds of music featured in festivals around the Cape this summer, and now it’s time for an old-fashioned hootenanny in Cotuit. More info.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Wednesday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation in posted above - give it a listen.
