Unmanned aircraft or drones are projected to become ubiquitous over the next 10-15 years. While the military and law enforcement already use them, they are currently banned from commercial use. Last year Joint Base Cape Cod was selected by the FAA as a test site for commercial drones. On The Point, Mindy Todd discusses some of the current and future uses of drones, the testing at the base, and the concerns many have about safety and privacy. Guests are H. Carter Hunt, vice president of defense sector initiatives for MassDevelopment, and Chris Kluckhuhn, founder and president of AV Watch.
