Coping With Teen Anxiety

According to the National Institute of Mental Health nearly one third of adolescents are affected by anxiety disorder. Not only is that number on the rise, the severity of the anxiety is also increasing.

The new movie Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety hopes to bring awareness and break the stigma for young people navigating mental health concerns, specifically anxiety.  The film will be screened in Falmouth and Harwich.

Joining us to discuss anxiety in adolescents as well as supports and services to help them are these guests:

Sheila House from Harwich Youth and Family Services

Fiona Jensen from Calmer Choice

Stephanie Briody fromBehavioral Health Innovators.

The film Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety is scheduled to show in Falmouth and Harwich.

Falmouth: Thursday, April 5, 6:30 p.m. at Morse Pond Elementary School

Harwich: Thursday, April 12, 6:30 p.m. at Monomoy Regional High School
