Comedy in Hyannis, 24-hr Theater Festival, Folk Legend Returns, & more

Looking for something great to do this weekend? Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi-Driscoll have a rundown of arts-and-culture events. Comedian Kelly MacFarland and others come to Hyannis for a fundraiser, and Provincetown Theater is hosting a festival in which plays get written and staged all in 24 hours! Also, the venerable Woods Hole Folk Music Society welcomes Bill Staines for the 41st time in 41 years! The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival gets underway next Tues, bringing more than 1000 students from all over New York and New England.

Also, consider Nantucket's marathon reading of Moby Dick, starting Saturday at 11am and ending midday on Sunday. And on Martha's Vineyard,at the Pit Stop in Oak Bluffs a trio of great musicians perform, including Dylan Foley, three-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion.
