Beth Liles is the Development Department’s Special Projects Assistant, helping with fundraising, volunteer activities, events, and members’ services. She is new to radio, but is a from-the-beginning-of-its-time WCAI listener and supporter. A University of Massachusetts graduate, Beth’s experience and education is in non-profit communications, marketing, events, and graphic design. Before moving down the street to WCAI, Beth was Assistant Director of Communications for the Marine Biological Laboratory, also in Woods Hole village. Deeply committed to her community and supportive of NPR’s mission to inform, educate, entertain, and strengthen it, Beth is thrilled to be working for her local NPR station!
When not at the station in Woods Hole or in Vermont at her family’s off-grid cabin, Beth lives in downtown Falmouth where she likes to strum a guitar, putter in the garden, make things, watch PBS, and listen to and read great stories.
